guidance in a particular area. The Bible is full of God’s specific commands and principles. For example, a teenager does not have to ask if he should get drunk because the Bible has already addressed that issue (Eph. 5:18). Nor does a businessman have to ask if he should cheat on his income taxes, for the Bible has spoken to that question (Rom. 13:7). An unmarried couple does not need to ask if they should live together before they marry. Again, the Bible has addressed that issue (1 Cor. 6:18). The
